  • Summer vegetables
  • 140g Cake Flour
  • 1 egg
  • 200ml Water
  • Deep fry oil (salad oil)

Step by Step Instructions

Cut vegetable you choiced into into desired size.
I used shiso leaves , eggplant and zucchini, because their season is summer in Japan.

Step 2

Mix tempura flour and water in a 2:3 ratio and sprinkle it over the vegetables.

Step 3

Put deep-frying oil in a pan and fry vegetables in 100° oil.
Please fry vegetables in the order of hard-to-cook ones first.

Step 4

In Japan, it is often eaten with salt, mentsuyu (Japanese noodle soup), or grated daikon (Japanese radish)
